My dad is in a nursing home, and although his needs are being met, I wanted to get him a part time PSW [Personal Support Worker]. I was looking for someone to be his companion, and take him on outings away from the home. I researched a lot of agencies and was surprised to find out how different they all were. Carefect was the only one that was able to meet all my needs.
The Director of Operations went out to the nursing home to meet with my dad and I. She even took the time (about an hour) to sit with my dad and got to know him; his likes/dislikes, personality, needs etc. The Director of Operations assured me that she was going to find someone who would be compatible with my dad, and the perfect fit.
Sure enough, all was in place. I was sceptical at first, but I am so happy and relieved that Carefect found the perfect match for my dad. The PSW is amazing with my dad, and does so much more then I had ever expected. She is dependable and flexible. There is always communication between the PSW, Carefect and myself. I feel very comfortable knowing that Carefect is taking care of my dad as I would myself. This has been such a positive experience for both my dad and I. I would sincerely recommend and trust Carefect for your loved ones.

Particularly of note was the clear perception that you provided at the initial assessment of just what services we would require. As we had never experienced the need for home care, your expertise in this manner was of enormous value.
We are extremely grateful for your choice in the selection of a Personal Care Provider. Her professional manner in administrating her duties was noteworthy. She expertly managed to assist my husband with the personal care with much regard for modesty and with such ability that the pain associated with his broken ribs was negligible. Her direction and preparation regarding mealtimes and medication administration was outstanding. Her bedtime procedures (that is transferring and positioning) added greatly to his personal comfort and enabled him to rest more peacefully. I was impressed with her soothing and encouraging vocal directions as she urged him to perform the necessary exercises imperative for recovery but were painful.
